Chauncey Billups is still playing at a high level for the Denver Nuggets
I remember sitting at the break room at work when I heard about the trade last season that brought Chauncey Billups to Denver. One of my co-workers thought that the Pistons stole Iverson from the Nuggets but I told him that the Nuggets would rise while the Pistons fell. I usually don’t like to gloat but I was right on that trade. Chauncey Billups is such an unselfish player that I knew he would be a huge asset at point guard for the Nuggets and he still is. Billups has played in 16 games (all starts) for the Nuggets so far this season and he is averaging 32.1 minutes, 16.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Billups makes all of the other players on the Nuggets better as he is without a doubt the #2 man on the Nuggets behind the great Carmelo Anthony.
