The Colorado Rockies acquire Jorge Julio from the Marlins for Byung-Hyun Kim
The Rockies have been looking to unload Byung-Hyun Kim for a while now and they finally found a trading partner in the Florida Marlins. Julio will likely work late in the bullpen for the Rockies despite the problems he’s had so far this season with the Marlins. Julio has pitched in 10 games this season for the Marlins and he’s 0-2 with a 12.54 ERA and a 3.11 WHIP. In 9.1 innings, Julio has allowed 18 hits, 2 homers, hit 2 batters, walked 11 and struck out 6. Look for the Rockies to try to get Julio to work out the kinks because he still has a great pitching arm.
