The Rockies have signed veteran lefty starting pitcher Mark Redman to a minor league contract.  This will be Redman’s 4th organization that he’s played for this season with the others being the Braves, Rangers and Blue Jays.  Redman was awful in the majors this season with the Braves as he was 0-4 with a 11.63 ERA and a 2.26 WHIP in six games (5 starts).  Redman has started 20 games in the minors this season and he is 4-8 with a 4.88 ERA and a 1.70 WHIP.  He has worked 110.2 innings in the bush leagues and he has allowed 137 hits, walked 51 batters and whiffed 67.  This was a good signing by the Rockies for depth reasons.
