The Colorado Rockies sign a couple free agent pitchers
The Rockies have signed lefties Chris George and John Koronka to minor-league contracts. George has not pitched in the majors since 2004 with the Royals. He has pitched in 47 games (44 starts) in his major league career and he is 14-20 with a 6.48 ERA and a 1.66 WHIP. John Koronka started 2 games last season for the Rangers and he was 0-2 with a 7.84 ERA and a 2.03 WHIP. Koronka has now pitched in 29 games (28 starts) and he has a 8-11 record with a 6.02 ERA and a 1.59 WHIP. The Rockies better hope that they don’t have to use either of these guys next season.
