23-year old righty swinging SS Troy Tulowitzki just scratched the surface of how good he could be last season. He played in 155 games for the Rockies last season and he was 177 for 609 (.291 avg, .838 OPS) with 104 runs scored, 24 homers, 99 RBIs and 7 stolen bases. Tulowitzki made 11 errors in 155 games at SS for the Rockies last season while showing range which was out of this world. Look for Tulowitzki to compete for both Gold Glove and Silver Slugger Awards in 2008 because he is that good!

29 year old righty swinging Clint Barmes has went downhill the last couple of seasons and he might need a new start in another city. He played 8 games at SS for the Rockies and he made 1 error while showing outstanding range. Barmes also played in 108 games in AAA ball last season and he was 128 for 428 (.299 avg, .815 OPS) with 68 runs scored, 11 homers, 44 RBIs and 8 stolen bases.

26-year old lefty swinging Omar Quintanilla will also be around this season for the Rockies. He played in 27 games for the Rockies last season and he was 16 for 70 (.229 avg, .566 OPS) with 6 runs scored and 5 RBIs. Quintanilla played in 2 error-less games at SS last season for the Rockies while showing off impressive range. He played in 98 games in AAA last season and he was 111 for 348 (.319 avg, .834 OPS) with 54 runs scored, 3 homers and 43 RBIs.
