Troy Tulowitzki is finally waking up for the Colorado Rockies

Troy Tulowitzki has finally woke up and it’s a good thing because the Rockies need his bat to make a run at the Dodgers and Diamondbacks in the N.L. West. On June 30th, Tulowitzki was hitting a truly pathetic .161 with 12 runs scored, 2 homers and 14 RBIs. Since then though Tulowitzki’s bat has started to come to life. Since June 30th Tulowitzki is 34 for 102 (.333 avg) with 16 runs scored, 2 homers and 10 RBIs. It seems that his power from last season is still not there as he has played in 63 games this season for the Rockies and he is 56 for 239 (.234 avg, .658 OPS) with 28 runs scored, 4 homers and 24 RBIs. The Rockies need him to keep hitting if they want to make a move in the division.

The Colorado Rockies are a Major League Baseball team based in Denver, Colorado. Established in 1993, the Rockies play in the West Division of the National League. The team is named after the Rocky Mountains, which pass through Colorado, just west of Denver. The Rockies play their home games at Coors Field in downtown Denver.
