The Rockies will likely be focused on helping the pitching staff in free agency but they will be bargain hunting. Josh Fogg, Carl Pavano, Jason Jennings and Bartolo Colon are probably the type of starters that the Rockies would be looking at. The Rockies also need help from the left side of the bullpen and they will likely be looking at pitchers like Eddie Guardado, Trever Miller and Ray King. The Rockies will likely try to move Garrett Atkins in a trade for pitching which would likely help the team more than signing any of the above mentioned free agents.
