The Colorado Rockies sign Josh Fogg
The Rockies have signed 32-year old righty starting pitcher Josh Fogg to a minor league deal. Fogg pitched in 22 games (14 starts) for the Reds last season and he was 2-7 with a 7.58 ERA and a 1.58 WHIP. In the two years previous to 2008, Fogg pitched in 61 games (60 starts) with the Rockies in which he was 22-18 with a 5.22 ERA and a 1.54 WHIP. He has now pitched in 219 games (193 starts) in his major league career in which he was 62-67 with a 5.08 ERA and a 1.47 WHIP. This was a good low risk move for the Rockies who need help in the starting rotation.
