The Rockies benched Yorvit Torrealba early this season going with the younger Chris Iannetta. But, Torrealba got hot down the stretch and he is a solid post season player so look for the Rockies to start him in the playoffs. He played in 64 games for the Rockies this season and he was 62 for 213 (.291 avg, .731 OPS) with 27 runs scored, 2 homers and 31 RBIs. Torrealba has played in 13 games in his post season career and he is 10 for 42 (.238 avg, .655 OPS) with 5 runs scored, 1 homer and 9 RBIs. Chris Iannetta is likely still the catcher of the future for the Rockies but he regressed this year. He played in 93 games for the Rockies this season and he was 66 for 289 (.228 avg, .804 OPS) with 41 runs scored, 16 homers and 52 RBIs. Iannetta doesn’t have any post season experience but he will likely get some in this series.
