The Rockies have lost 25-year old righty reliever/starter Shane Lindsay on waivers to the Yankees. Lindsay came into this season as the Rockies’ #23 rated prospect heading into this season according to Baseball America. He pitched in 14 games (0 starts) in AAA-ball this season and he was 0-1 with a 6.59 ERA and a 2.34 WHIP. He walked a stunning 17 batters in 13 2/3 innings but he did whiff 19 batters. Still the Rockies have decided that they have seen enough of Lindsay. Lindsay pitched in 100 games (41 starts) in his six years in the minors with the Rockies and he was 18-13 with 1 save, a 3.48 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP.
