25-year old lefty swinging outfielder Carlos Gonzalez had a rough time dealing with injuries this year and he has been shut down. He played in 127 games for the Rockies this year and he was 142 for 481 (.295 avg, .889 OPS) with 92 runs scored, 26 homers, 92 RBIs and 20 stolen bases. Gonzalez has now played in 361 games in his first three years with the Rockies and he is 418 for 1,346 (.311 avg, .924 OPS) with 256 runs scored, 73 homers, 268 RBIs and 62 stolen bases. Gonzalez is going to be a force with the bat for the Rockies for a long, long time.
