Jim Miller elects to leave the Colorado Rockies

29-year old righty reliever Jim Miller has elected to become a minor league free agent. He pitched in 6 games (0 starts) for the Rockies in 2011 and he was 0-0 with a 2.57 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP. Miller also pitched in 65 games (0 starts) in AAA-ball last year and he was 8-5 with 24 saves, a 5.25 ERA and a 1.58 WHIP. The Rockies won’t miss Miller going forward.
