33-year old righty swinging RF Michael Cuddyer is off to a good start swinging the bat for the Rockies. Cuddyer has played in 5 games for the Rockies so far this year and he is 8 for 20 (.400 avg, 1.229 OPS) with 3 runs scored, 1 homer, 4 RBIs and 1 stolen base. The Rockies need Cuddyer to give them a lot of thump in the middle of the batting order and to give Troy Tulowitzki some protection in the batting order so teams don’t pitch around him in 2012.
