19-year old righty swinging SS/3B Trevor Story came into this season as the Rockies’ #6 prospect according to Baseball America. He is showing why so far this year. Story has played in 49 games in A-ball so far this year for the Rockies and he is 54 for 185 (.292 avg, .959 OPS) with 43 runs scored, 10 homers, 33 RBIs and 4 stolen bases. He has now played in 96 games in his first two years in the minors and he is 102 for 364 (.280 avg, .880 OPS) with 80 runs scored, 16 homers, 61 RBIs and 17 stolen bases. The Rockies are going to likely take things slow with Story.
