26-year old lefty swinging outfielder Carlos Gonzalez had a huge month in June for the Rockies. Gonzalez played in 28 games for the Rockies in May and he was 40 for 114 (.351 avg, 1.145 OPS) with 26 runs scored, 11 doubles, 10 homers, 26 RBIs and 4 stolen bases. He has now played in 50 games for the Rockies and he is 67 for 202 (.332 avg, 1.031 OPS) with a major league leading 45 runs scored, 14 homers, 45 RBIs and 8 stolen bases. The Rockies are really going to be leaning on Gonzalez with Troy Tulowitzki now on the D.L.
