Carlos Gonzalez will represent the Colorado Rockies at the All-Star Game
26-year old lefty swinging outfielder Carlos Gonzalez has been selected as a reserve for the N.L. at the All-Star Game. It will be his first trip to the game. Gonzalez has played in 72 games for the Rockies so far this year and he is 99 for 292 (.339 avg, 1.000 OPS) with 59 runs scored, 17 homers, 58 RBIs and 10 stolen bases. This is a big honor for Gonzalez, but he has really deserved to be playing in this game for three years now. Maybe he will start making it every year now as he has broke the seal.
