28-year old righty swinging outfielder Andrew Brown has elected to become a free agent. He played in 46 games for the Rockies last year and he was 26 of 112 (.232 avg, .730 OPS) with 14 runs scored, 5 homers, 11 RBIs and 2 stolen bases. Brown has now played in 57 games in his first two years in the majors and he is 30 for 134 (.224 avg, .679 OPS) with 15 runs scored, 5 homers, 14 RBIs and 2 stolen bases. This is not much of a loss for the Rockies.
