The Colorado Rockies sign Logan Kensing
The Rockies have signed 30-year old righty reliever Logan Kensing to a minor league deal. Kensing pitched in 27 games (0 starts) in A+AA+AAA-ball last year and he was 3-1 with 1 save, a 3.97 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP. Kensing last pitched in the majors back in 2009 with the Marlins and Nationals. He has pitched in 134 games (3 starts) in his first six years in the majors and he was 8-9 with 2 saves, a 5.81 ERA and a 1.63 WHIP. Kensing will be a longshot to make the Rockies’ bullpen next spring.
