The Colorado Rockies hope that Michael Cuddyer can stay healthy in 2013

The Rockies hope that 33-year old righty swinging RF Michael Cuddyer can stay healthy in 2013.  He played in 101 games for the Rockies last year and he was 93 of 358 (.260 avg, .806 OPS) with 53 runs scored, 16 homers, 58 RBIs and 8 stolen bases.  He played in 74 games (68 starts) in RF last year and he had 6 assists and 3 errors there while showing below average range.  Cuddyer has now played in 1,240 games in his first 12 years in the majors and he is 1,199 of 4,430 (.271 avg, .795 OPS) with 659 runs scored, 157 homers, 638 RBIs and 60 stolen bases.  27-year old Tyler Colvin, 27-year old Eric Young and 26-year old Charlie Blackmon could get in on the action in 2013 in RF at some point for the Rockies.  Colvin played in 59 games (44 starts) for the Rockies in RF last year and he had 6 assists and 0 errors while showing off really good range there.  Young played in 11 games (all starts) in RF for the Rockies last year and he didn’t have any errors or assists there while showing poor range.  Blackmon played in 17 games (11 starts) in RF last year and he had 2 assists and 0 errors there while showing good range there.
