The Colorado Rockies have activated 29-year old lefty swinging outfielder Gerardo Parra off of the D.L. Parra has played in 63 games for the Rockies so far this year and he is 64 of 243 (.263 avg, .698 OPS) with 32 runs scored, 5 homers, 27 RBIs and 6 stolen bases. The Rockies signed Parra to a 3-year, $27.5 million dollar deal last winter to start for them along with Carlos Gonzalez and Charlie Blackmon in the outfield. While Parra was on the D.L., the Rockies called up their #2 prospect coming into this year according to Baseball America, David Dahl. Dahl has played in 12 games for the Rockies so far this year and he is 19 of 50 (.380 avg, 1.024 OPS) with 12 runs scored, 3 homers and 7 RBIs. Parra might become the highest paid #4 outfielder in all of baseball.
