The Colorado Rockies sign Roy Oswalt to a minor league deal
The Rockies have signed 35-year old righty starting pitcher Roy Oswalt to a minor league deal. He pitched in 17 games (9 starts) for the Rangers last year and he was 4-3 with a 5.80 ERA and a 1.53 WHIP. Oswalt has now pitched in 356 games (335 starts) in his first 12 years in the majors and he is 163-96 with a 3.28 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP. The Rockies aren’t going to rush Oswalt too much, but I really like this signing for them. He could really help them some time in June until the end of the 2013 season.
