Ian Stewart could start the year on the D.L. for the Colorado Rockies

Blogged under Bloglockers, Front Page, General, Injuries by chinmusic on Friday 11 March 2011 at 8:32 am

Starting 3B Ian Stewart could start the 2011 season on the disabled list due to a MCL sprain. This is very bad luck for Stewart as he was in line to get a lot of P.T. this year. The Rockies were smart to sign Ty Wigginton over the winter as he will likely take over as the starting 3B until Stewart is ready to return to action. The Rockies will be in good hands until Stewart gets healthy.
